C060: Eastwind 2020-02 - Delivery of COVID -19 Test Kits and PPE. |
---|
Pick up COVID-19 test kits from
airports located close to production
facilities and deliver to areas that
are in need of these test kits.
As well as the test kits the country
is in need of masks, gowns and other
PPE to be delivered around the US.
The need is for small cargo airlift
from the regionals to larger runways
where larger flights can originate and
move to other points as needed.
EastWind 02-2020 will be designated
for this effort.
To start to move the masks and other
PPE stuff to government strategic
storage as well as to localities, a
need exists for airlift from 3M's
sites to other points in the country.
From Aberdeen, flights to Fargo, Sioux
Falls, Sioux City, and Minneapolis St
Paul. For Columbia, Missouri
points could include Kansas City, St
Louis, and Chicago. the other two can
originate from Newark, New Jersey and
from JFK in New York. Valley is
outside of Omaha, Nebraska and the
city airport has long runways.
For the purposes of this EastWind,
Government Strategic Reserve locations
are Atlanta Hartsfield, Alliance Fort
Worth, and McCarran in Las Vegas,
Nevada. Airlift can go from the
collectors to these locations
or to any location needed
domestically.
This is attractive for all sorts of
flight durations as the feeders are
small cargo transports, and short
flights. The movement to other points
are a little longer. we are putting a
category code for flights on the web
site today for you to use when doing
the flights.
This has the potential to go
internationally as things start to
open back up. WestWind Cargo Hubs near New
York, Atlanta, Ft Worth, and Chicago are being used. Anyone is
welcome to join in and make some of
these flights. The airlift is N95
