P002: United Nations World Tour |
---|
The United Nations Secretary-General chartered WestWind for an international tour for a group of delegates to help unite the world and raise the profile of the U.N.. You determine the number of delegates on board and the size of the aircraft accordingly. The minimum delegation is six members. As they tour, the delegates will be welcomed by leaders of the country visited. There will be a flag ceremony and a dinner. The Tour visits the capitol city airports of 196 countries. There are no travel restrictions. Pilots must fly to 196 Country Capitol airports listed in the updated list attached to this charter. Charter P002 has 199 legs: Leg 1 - Depart from any WWA Hub or Mini Hub and fly to KJFK. Leg 2 through Leg 197 – Board the U.N. delegates and fly from KJFK to the 196 designated capital city airports listed in the download. The Tour itinerary is at pilot's discretion. Fly in any order and any routes you wish. Leg 198 - Return the delegation to KJFK from the last capitol city on the Tour. Leg 199 - Return from KJFK to the Hub or Mini Hub from which you originally departed. Select an aircraft below and use the Flight Dispatch System to check-out and check-in each Charter P002 flight to each of the 196 designated capitol city airports on the download list. Add "P002 UN World Tour" to your flight check-in comments. If a capitol city airport runway is too short for your aircraft, land at the nearest airport with sufficient runway length. Transfer some delegates to a smaller aircraft and fly them to the listed capitol city airport. After the visit, return the delegates in the smaller aircraft to the larger airport. Re-board and continue the Tour. You have the discretion to take breaks from flying Charter P002 in order to fly Hub or Cargo Routes, Charters, or On-line flights and Events. When you take breaks from flying P002, leave your tour aircraft at a capitol city airport. Take a virtual jump seat ride on an aircraft going to the departure airport of your break flight. Afterward, you take a virtual jump seat ride back to the capitol city where you left your tour aircraft. Proceed with P002. If you have a question, post it in the Executive Charter Division Section of the Flight Operations Forum or send a message to the Executive Vice President, Executive Charter Division. Phil posted his flight route in the Flight Tales Forum UN World Tour Step by Step Award - If you complete charter P002, you may apply for the U. N. World Tour Pilot Recognition Award. Your flight log will be checked to verify you flew to and landed at each of the 190 designated capitol airports listed on the download. Use the Flight Dispatch System to make sure your flights are posted on your flight log.
