Passenger Charter Details
P018: Essential Air Service Charter |
---|
This charter is designed to allow our pilots to fly Essential Air Service
flights which ensure that small communities in the US are served by certified
airline maintained commercial service. The USDOT subsidizes airline service to
serve rural communities across the country that would not receive any scheduled
air service. As of 4 November 2013 160 communities are covered by this act of
which 43 are in Alaska.
Destinations/Flight routes can be found on the Wikipedia Essential Air Service
posting which includes the states and airports served plus the serve to hub
along with the aircraft to be used.
Fly one or more of these flights at pilot's discretion. Aircraft used is also
at pilot's discretion but recommend you use the Westwind fleet aircraft that
makes sense for the route.
