---|
Göbekli Tepe is regarded as the oldest religious site in the world - created before human civilization and agriculture. It was likely erected in the 10th millennium BCE and excavation was started in 1994. Currently it is estimated that only 5% of the site has been uncovered. Current excavations are under the lead of Klaus Schmidt of the German Archaeological Institute of Istanbul. For this charter you will fly Mr. Schmidt from Istanbul (LTBA) to Şanlıurfa Airport (LTCH) along with any of his colleagues or equipment. Additionally, Mr. Schmidt may be called back to Berlin, Germany and will require transportation to and from the site.
