P171: Perito Moreno Glacier Tour (Part VFR)
In this charter, your charter group will experience a close up view of the immense Moreno Glacier, one of the few remaining advancing glaciers on the planet. While there, your passengers will be able to listen to the thundering sound of cracking glacial ice and watch massive igloo icebergs crash into the milky gray glacial water with thunderous splashes. The raw beauty and power of this natural wonderland is like few places on earth. Fly from any WestWind Hub or Mini-Hub to SAEZ Ezeiza Intl. in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From there, hop in a smaller jet or prop plane and fly to SAWC El Calafate Airport. The group will be provided with transportation to a hotel for the night. The next day the group will take a full day excursion in Glacier National Park. UNESCO declared the park Argentina’s first Natural World Heritage Site in 1981. Your tour group will enjoy an included visit to the main lookout point for an awesome panoramic view of this glacial colossus and the continental ice shelf. Take a one-hour amphibian aircraft or helicopter flight, or boat ride for close-up views of the front wall of the glacier. Make water landings in an amphibian at your discretion. Return to SAWC El Calafate airport. Then, return to SAEZ Ezeiza Intl. Finally, return home to the WestWind Hub or Mini-Hub from which you departed.
