Pick up a float plane at any Chicago area airport. Head out West to Flat Head Lake near Kalispell, Montana. Stop off at the various lakes for some fishing. Stop for overnight stays and fuel.

From Flat Head Lake, head East to the Tiber Reservoir (West of Havre, Montana).

When everyone is finished there, pick up the Missouri River and follow it East through North Dakota and South Dakota. Stop off at the various lakes for some fishing. Make water landings in an amphibian at your discretion. Make supply stops at the riverside towns of Bismarck and Pierre. Your final stop will be Sioux City, Iowa.

After a break at Sioux City, head back to Chicago.
