While you are in each regional center, be sure to hire out something smaller such as a Baron 58 or a helicopter for a few local hops. Don't forget a trip to Ayers's Rock and the Olgas while you are in Alice Springs.

While in Darwin, consider extending the charter with other charters. You could do a short hop over to New Guinea for a Kokoda Track charter, a local fishing charter (Karumba is a great fishing destination), or a Kakadu charter. If you are in no great hurry to get back home, you could do half of the Highway 1 charter around the coast. Return.
