If poachers or animals in trouble are spotted while you are in flight, you are to radio back to the park HQ in Mtito Andei.
You will then head to the following small airstrips Once you have coverd the airfields fly direct over the OKNES intersection(S 3 35.08’ E37 54.00’), after that you will fly to the Manyani VOR (CRA), and finally back to Mtito Andei. The Wildlife Service would like if you could stop at as many airstrips as possible to ask the villagers of any animals in distress or poachers in the area, but it is not necessary. !!!!!!!!Be aware, poachers are said to be armed with RPGs and AK-47 rifles, as soon as they are spotted do not attempt to intercept them, instead fly to a higher altitude and radio the base immediately!!!!!!!!
