Westwind Executive Charters has been hired to transport Spanish engineers to East Africa, to monitor the construction of a new undersea broadband cable. The $600 million fibre optic cable is to be activated in Kenya shortly and will then be sent on to countries like Uganda, Ethiopia and Mozambique. This is the beginning of a new era for East Africa. Pilots are required to transfer Engineers from the Madrid Hub (LEMD) to Nairobi (HKJK), from there the engineers may request a shuttle to any other town in the country, if that is the case, be prepared to do some bush flying!
