With growing intrest in what is possibly the worlds most famous shipwreck. From this summer Westwind Executive Charters is offering an exclusive and intensive tour showing the most import sites. This will be an intensive 5 day tour with not to much flying involved. Start your tour at any European airport then head to Liverpool John Lennon Airport ( EGGP ) Here your professional tour begins at Liverpools famous pierhead. The Whitestar line owner of the Titanic had its headquarters here the building still stands and we offer a tour of the city and a trip on the famous ferry across the Mersey. After a tasty lunch its back to the airport for a short flight across the Irish sea to Belfast City Airport ( EGAC) You land right next to the twin cranes known as " Goliath " This was home to Haarland and Wolff Shipyard where Titanic was constructed along with her sister ship the Olympic. After your visit we head to Belfasts famous Europa Hotel for our overnight stay. In the morning we head to Southampton Airport ( EGHI) where Titanic arrived in Early April 1912. Here she refuelled and prepared for her maiden voyage to New York. We take a look at Southamptons Historic waterfront and then head back to the airport for our next leg. Once back on the aircraft we head to France for Titanics first stop at Cherbourg (LFRC) The waterfront and arrival railway station still stand from the early Twentieth Century. After your tour we retire to a Michellen Starred Restaraunt for a fantastic late Lunch. Our evening is free until we travel to a local chateau for dinner and Bed. This morning we head to the airport early to head back towards Ireland and the Town of Queenstown / Cobh via Cork Airport ( EICK) This picturesque town has a history steeped in both joy and tragedy. Titanic called here and this was her last landfall. A contempery ship of the day Lusitania was sunk just of Cobh and her survivors were landed here. A memorial to both ships are here in the town and we will visit both. The rest of the day is spent here and you are free to explore one of Irelands most beautiful towns. We offer a number of tours for the evening including a flight to Dublin for dinner and a stay at Bono's exclusive hotel in downtown Dublin (EIDW). The following morning we depart to follow Titanics fatefull journey across the Atlantic. We fly over the co-ordinates 41" 43'55 N 49"56'45 W and head on to Halifax Nova Scotia. ( CYHZ) Here we visit the graves of the recovered bodies from Titanic and learn about the salvage mission sent out in 1912. We spend the rest of the day at leisure until evening where you you retire to your hotel for an evening. Next day is our final leg of the tour as we head out to New York La Guardia (KLGA) Here our story ends on a positive note as we discover Titanics final destination and how her survivors arrived on a very wet evening aboard the RMS Carpathia. We spend 2 nights in New york visiting various points of interest around the Maritime history of the city. We finally head home as we whisk you away from La Guardia back across the Atlantic to our start Airport. All tours include the services of a professional tour guide and a tour manager.
