The World Heritage Programme is administered by the World Heritage Committee under UNESCO and maintains a list of sites in danger whose conservation require major operations and for which "assistance has been requested" on a List of World Heritage in Danger. This action is intended to increase the international awareness to the threat and to encourage counteractive measures. Threats to a site can be either ascertained dangers which are proven imminent threats or potential dangers that could have adverse effects on the characteristics of a site. (from Wikipedia)

WestWind Executive Charter Services have been contracted by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee to transport subject matter experts from their headquarters in Paris, France to any of the locations listed as being in danger. These individuals may include historians, scientists, conservationists, and/or committee members/diplomatic officials. The trips can be either flown one way or round trip depending on the individual(s) purpose and mission.

Current locations listed as being in danger include: whc.unesco.org/en/danger/ Historians, Scientists, and conservationists will likely be flown to the actual sites (airports listed under the site); while committee members and diplomatic officials will generally only be flown to discuss issues with government leaders (airports listed next to the country).
