Passenger Charter Details
P346: Summer Hub Hoppin' -- Toronto |
---|
This tour will sample some of Toronto's regional routes and charter
destinations. Toronto also features a nice selection of short haul, medium
haul and long haul flights making Toronto Hub a very nice fit for any Pilot.
We will start at Kenora Airport which is a turnaround point for one of
Toronto's Turboprop routes. We will travel east along the U.S./Canadian
border, then North up the East Coast of Canada then work our way back to
Toronto. Nain Airport (CYDP) is not accessible by our Cat 1 aircraft, so Cat
1 Pilots should pause their tour after reaching St Anthony (CYAY), or
whenever they reach 15 hours and resume tour after completion of Cat 2
training. Nain is the location of the short field challenge on this tour, it
is a 1988 ft gravel runway.
If you use Real World Weather you may experience 50+ Knots winds at some of
the airports.
Note: jet operation not allowed at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (CYTZ).
Jets need to land at Toronto Pearson International Airport (CYYZ).
Most airports have lakes, Islands and hunting locations just a short flight
away, there is always a charter waiting to go.
