AKC005: Medical Supply Delivery

Westwind has been contracted to provide weekly medical supply runs to various villages in western Alaska. Initially, we’ve accepted responsibility for a few routes, with more to be added as further capacity is needed. Captains will be loading their aircraft at Unalakleet or Nome and making stops as scheduled on the following routes:

Option 1
Nome (PAOM) to Hooper Bay (PAHP)
Hooper Bay (PAHP) to Chevak (VAK)
Chevak (VAK) to Tununak (4KA)
Return to Nome from Tununak

Option 2
Unalakleet (PAUN) to Anvik (PANV)
Anvik (PANV) to Grayling (KGX)
Grayling (KGX) to Kaltag (KAL)
Kaltag (KAL) to Nulato (NUL)
Nulato (NUL) to Koyukuk (KYU)
Return to Unalakleet from Koyukuk

Due to short runways at these destinations only the following aircraft will be suitable: Beechcraft 58G, Beechcraft 1900, Cessna 172, Cessna 185, Cessna 208B, DeHavilland DHC 2, DeHavilland DHC 3, DeHavilland DHC 6, Maule M7, and Piper PA- 28.

Option 3
Nome (PAOM) to Shishmaref (PASH)
Shishmaref (PASH) to Tin City (PATC)
Tin City (PATC) to Port Clarence (KPC)
Return to Nome from Port Clarence

A Cat III prop aircraft will be used for this route: Grumman G21A, Lockheed L100, and Lockheed L188.
