Westwind's Salmon Lake Resort, located on the western shore of Alaska, caters to
tourists in the summer months for fishing, hiking and sight seeing tours. In the
fall the hunters show up and in the winter the ice fisherman try their luck on
the frozen surface of Salmon Lake.
Passengers maybe picked up from any location and hauled into Nome, Alaska with
its 6001' runway in larger or executive aircraft, if required, and then ferried
from Nome into Salmon lake using smaller aircraft that have the ability to land
on the 2499' gravel or snow
landing strip.
